What buying property owner data means
Buying data means you receive owner records outright, priced per record, rather than sending DataSkip a list of addresses you already have. It is the right starting point when you do not yet have a list: you define the properties you want, and the records come back complete with the owner's identity and contact information. If you already have a list of addresses, skip tracing at 4¢ per hit is the cheaper path, and both run from the same account.
What every record contains
Each record identifies the owner and gives you every reachable channel we have for them. Names come parsed into first, middle, last, and full name, so your CRM and mail merges work without cleanup. Addresses come in two parts: the property address itself (street, city, state, ZIP) and the owner's mailing address whenever it differs from the property. That second field is the absentee owner signal, the fastest way to separate owner-occupants from investors and landlords in a list.
Contact data runs deep rather than returning a single best guess: up to 10 mobile phone numbers, up to 9 landlines, and up to 28 email addresses per record. Phone numbers carry DNC flags so you can see Do Not Call registry status before dialing. More numbers per record means more attempts before a lead goes cold, and it means one purchased record can feed calling, texting, email, and direct mail at the same time.
Volume pricing and delivery
Records start at 10¢ each on small orders and slide down to 5¢ per record at high volume, so a list that costs $100 at the entry rate can cost half that at scale. There is no minimum order and no subscription: buy 50 records or 50,000. Everything is delivered as a clean CSV you can open in Excel, import into a CRM, or push into a dialer. Volume pricing applies to data buying only; skip tracing stays a flat 4¢ per hit at any list size.
Buy data, then skip trace it, in one flow
Most customers use both products together. Pull a targeted property and owner list from the platform, then run that same list through skip tracing to enrich or refresh the contact data, up to 250,000 records in a single run. Developers can automate the tracing half through the REST API, CLI, and SDK at the same flat rate. Teams across real estate, home services, property management, and collections run this exact loop.
