About DataSkip

DataSkip is a skip tracing and property data service based in Arizona, USA. We turn a US property address into the owner's name, phone numbers with Do Not Call flags, email addresses, and mailing address, so that teams whose work starts from a property can reach the person who owns it. Our customers are real estate investors and wholesalers, roofing, solar, and home service companies, property managers, and collections teams.

What we do

Upload a list of property addresses as Excel or CSV (up to 250,000 records in a single run) and get a clean CSV back with the owner contact data attached to every matched row. Developers get the same skip tracing through a REST API, a command line tool, and a typed JavaScript/TypeScript SDK, published as the official npm package skiptrace. Teams that do not have a list yet can buy property owner data by the record and skip trace it in the same platform.

How we price

Skip tracing is pay as you go at a flat 4 cents per hit from the dashboard or the API. A hit is a record we match with owner contact data; a record that returns nothing is a miss, and misses are always free. There is no minimum order, no subscription is required, the rate does not change with list size, and loaded balances never expire. Data buying starts at 10 cents per record and comes down to 5 cents at volume; volume discounts apply to data buying only. Our data

Every hit can include the owner's first, middle, last, and full name, the property address, the mailing address when it differs from the property, up to 10 mobile phones, up to 9 landlines, and up to 28 emails, with a Do Not Call flag on each phone number. Coverage is US properties only, all 50 states. DataSkip is not a background check service: results cover property ownership and contact information, never criminal, credit, or employment records.
